Well, on board my TARDIS, I personally prefer a Logitech MX400 Performance Laser Mouse.

I use the Logitech MX518, its a bit of a gamer mouse, but I do like having Exposé and back and forwards at my finger tips.

BEST mouse ever made. And I've used a lot of mice, including nearly every Logitech one.

The MX518 will change your life. It's GOOD. Real good.

I'm still using my BT Mighty Mouse. Have had no problems in the 9 months or so since I got it. I don't think I could even contemplate using another mouse. It seems though, that Mighty Mouse fans are definitely in the minority

Logitech MX518 or the Razer DeathAdder. it all depends on application ;) I keep both hooked up and just swap between the 2.

The one thing that I have really welcomed in moving to the Kensington Expert is the 'scroll ring' - too often trackballs have no dedicated scroll function, which is fine if you're running full screen & cab just roll across to the edge of the window, but it starts to get annoying wasting time finding scrollbars when you have loads nested in frames or the such. And as we're posting pictures, this is my baby;

How do you like the scroll ring? I've heard some people say it feels cheap and makes a grinding/scrapping type noise.

I use the Logitech VX revolution since I have small hands and it has the perfect size for a desktop mouse and is small enough to carry around.
However, very disappointed of the drivers Logitech offers...I am using Steermouse for my mouse.

It does feel cheap, & does make a bit of a scraping plastic-on-plastic sound to begin with, but once you've worn it in a bit it get's smoother & you soon don't notice it. But after a while I'm absolutely loving it, I can't live without it now.

Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend a decent bluetooth mouse for my Mac. I'd like it to be able to work with the Macs built-in bluetooth, I don't want to have to use a separate dongle. I also want multiple buttons (at least 4). I'm easy when it comes to optical or laser tracking. No budget really. I don't mind paying for a decent mouse.

The best mouse I've ever used was a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer which I still have and is getting on for around 8 years old now. How are new MS mice these days? The Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse is an option but the only thing I don't like about them is you cannot configure the left/right force-sensing buttons to different actions.

What do you guys use and are you happy with your current mouse?

Cheers.

You can can't you?
Im sure I had it set up for a while with right-click launching Dashboard, though that was a while ago now...
Also to all those trackball users, isn't it a lot of work to move the cursor around when you could just be done with it in one hand movement?

using MX Revolution, VX Nano, and Mighty Mouse. and i love them all.
i wish they made a MX nano though. the VX nano is fine as it is, but its control center isn't as powerful as the MX's. and i really miss the thumb button. otherwise, it's the lightest one and great for carrying around.

and this is interesting: people wow at my MX Rev more often than at the MM.

Um, no? I can go from one side of the screen to the other with a TINY movement from one finger. It all depends on how sensitive you have it, & the acceleration curve you have on the movement. The average trackball-users trackball is nothing at all like those that you find on public-access terminals, where it takes 27 full rotations to reach the opposite corner of the screen.

Can the dongle for the Logitech mice be used with the USB ports in the Apple Keyboard? I'd like to pick up a 620, but I don't want to have to use a USb port in my Mini.

logitech mx revolution, though i'm looking into a vx nano. i kinda want something i don't have to charge all the time.

yes, i use my logitech mx revolution with the dongle attached to my keyboard (which is attached to my display, connected to my mbp).

I can confirm that.
