Before we all possibly throw money at new and shiny AW6...

What old Apple Watch do you have and how is it holding up? Pic's welcome.

I loved reading the iPhone version of this. Plenty with the iPhone 6 and 6S holding up the anti planned obsolesce. :)

In the middle of several books.
My main watch was my series 5 which I just sold to get ready for the series 6. I am currently wearing my series 3 in the interim, and it gets me by in a pinch. I miss my series 5 watch faces and by cellular ability, not to mention the speed of the series 5 compared to the series 3.

I have a Series 1 that I never use and and a Series 4 that I wear all the time. The watch face I have on the 4 is much better than anything available on the 1 so I doubt I will ever use it again. Don't see upgrading to the 6 as I'm happy with the features and performance of the 4.

44mm GPS Gold Aluminum S4. Holding up perfectly well. S5 was too incremental an update, but the S6 should be good. Looking to upgrade to stainless and cell. #SUATMM

Still on my Series 0! 42mm Sport with a white Sport Band and two Sport Loops. It holds up relatively well, battery-life wise, but it’s definitely on the slow side. I’ve flipped a bunch of the power saving switches, so depending on how many notifications I get throughout the day (they eat up a good amount of the battery life), it usually lasts me all day.

Will you finally upgrade?

Series 0 42mm Black Sport Band. Was tempted to get the S5 this summer for $299, but I was able to hold out this long for S6.

Damn, both of you were able to get solid usage out of that watch.

SS S4, still has AppleCare+. Really love it. Will probably be awhile before I upgrade.

I have a space grey S5 aluminum with LTE. The rumors about the S6 are pretty underwhelming for a S5 owner (as are most next-year upgrades).

S4 space black. After reading the article on 9to5mac I'm having second thoughts if they are only adding in the blood oxygen sensor. The only thing that not holding me back right now is the fact that I *might be getting a new car (BMW) so I can take advantage of the new digital key thing with my watch and soon to be new iPhone.

Series 4 SS. It has a bunch of micro-scratches as per the nature of stainless steel...but software-wise, it's holding up just fine.

The only way I'll opt for a Series 6 at this point is as a gift or as a replacement if the S4 dies for one reason or another. Ideally, I'd like to use this for at least two more years; the longer, the better.

I have a 4. Love it. It's spotless, and hasn't given my any problems (yet). Never felt the 5 was worth paying yet again for a watch. I have a rather large collection of bands too. Some I never use. I'm waiting to see if the Apple TV event app will actually show the event. Curious what the new watch might be like. Will there be enough to make me want to upgrade.

Edit: ?‍♀️It's one o'clock Eastern, right?

I got to admit I posted this for the possible series 0 owners and it delivered.

Just watched the keynote. I’ve had a couple of series 2, one series 3, one series 4 and now my 5. I like traditional watches but the Apple Watch keeps bringing me back and I re buy it.

It’s the only relatively low priced watch enjoyed by your average joe or Jolene and your millionaires.

SE is of no interest having the 5 but the 6? I dunno. ;)

I have a self winding TAG Heuer Carrera that is the slickest looking watch I've ever owned, and I still can't see getting it out. I did stop wearing a watch for a few years, but now the Apple Watch is so darn usable, I would feel nakud if I ever lost it, or it died and I had to wait to get a new one.

Similarly I've been fantasizing about a Tudor Black Bay Bronze mechanical because they are so unique, but I have several other unique watches that just sit on the shelf because the Apple Watch is so darn useful. Not sure I'll ever pick up that Tudor.

S4 SBSS (had the S0 SS, and S3 SBSS before it). The sapphire screen is flawless after 2 years and the SBSS case is 99% perfect with only one or two nearly imperceptible zero depth scratches.

I went with my first ever S6 SG Al GPS only model this time, to try out how the "low end" materials feel and wear over time since I suspect I will be upgrading to the S7 next year which I believe will be a bigger update with the first case redesign since S4.
