XR and the 11. Current 12 will replace 11, while SE (2nd) becomes the 'cheap' low end iPhone.
Larger 12 models and Mini will disappear to be replaced by 13's equivalent, while SE (3rd) not out until the Spring - dependent on how well the 13 models sell at their price points.

Currently not seeing a lot of enthusiasm for 13 models - more of the 'same old' at a feature price... - so beyond those Macolytes who salivate every time Apple rings a bell, I'm not so sure. More interest in the OS, and even then...

Is there any reason to believe that there will be a new SE so soon after the last? A new one would require at least some R&D, and I have always inferred that doing that rarely keeps the cost down. But that's just supposition on my part with no real understanding of Apple's costs. Or plans. Or supply chain. Or development process. Or anything.

I think the current rumours are that the new SE will be same form factor but with updated chips etc. So R&D may be quite minimal.

Yeah the XR will go. 11 will drop to that price point or close, so the XR wont make much sense anymore.
Yeah I think this is most likely. Question is will they keep both the standard and the mini 12 around? So sell:

iPhone SE
iPhone 11
iPhone 12/Mini
iPhone 13/Mini
iPhone 13 Pro

A clean lineup would be:

iPhone SE
13 series

But Apple would never do this.

They will probably do the above plus iPhone 11.

The 11 and XR currently fill that demand for people that can't afford/unwilling to pay the price for a 12, but want a full screen/home button-free device. I expect the lineup will be: SE - 11 - 12 - 13/13 Mini/13 Pro/13 Pro Max. They'll stop offering the 12 Mini and 12 Pro/12 Pro Max.

Current SE has 11's guts in an 8's shell. Rumours suggest next SE will still be in 8's shell, but 12's guts. Some speculation it may be even be closer to the 13's - but that kinda negates the need for a 13 Mini.

Spring release suggested as per last SE's date - but again, I think that's subject to how well the 13 sells. Who knows - they may need to goose sales with a Purple SE...? 🙄

My prediction is:
iPhone SE 2020 $349-399
iPhone 11 $499
iPhone 12 mini $599
iPhone 12 $699
iPhone 13 mini $699
iPhone 13 $799
iPhone 13 Pro $999
iPhone 13 Pro Max $1099-1199

Well "dropped" can mean two things. The iPhone 11 is the oldest iPhone Apl currently sells, but iOS support is something different. Historically a new iPhone can run four newer versions of iOS until its cut off.

I predict the Xr will get dropped along with the 12 Pro, 12, and 12 mini. I think the iPhone 11 will stay in the lineup but I cannot see the 12's staying in the lineup since they are so close to what the 13's will be like.

The iPhone XR will get dropped, as most of you say, I agree. However, I think the iPhone 11 will remain, as well as the SE 2020, and the iPhone 12. Those 3 models will remain, with the SE being the cheapest one, then the 11, then the 12.

Then, the iPhone 13 lineup with the mini, Pro and Pro Max models.

-iPhone SE 2020
-iPhone 11
-iPhone 12
-iPhone 13 mini
-iPhone 13
-iPhone 13 Pro
-iPhone 13 Pro Max

That’s my bet. Then, depending on the form factor of the 3rd gen iPhone SE, it would replace the SE 2020 (4,7”) or the iPhone 11 (6,1”) next spring.

I could see them dropping the 11 and keeping the XR as the absolute lowest price point, seeing as there is very little difference between those two phones, so the XR makes more sense as the entry level phone in this years line up

XR
12 mini (bridges price gap XR to 12)
12
13 series

maybe the SE maybe not. Hopefully not lol

Reactions: this is ironic
Lineup:
XR will get dropped
11
SE 2
12(12 mini will get dropped)
12 Pro will get dropped
13/mini
13 Pro/Pro Max
Price:
11 will get $499
SE 2 will get $349/stay at $399

Given that there appears to be little difference between the iPhone 12 and 13 models, especially in the materials and cost to produce them, I think Apple will drop all iPhone 12 models, along with the XR.

So we'll see a more slim downed iPhone lineup:
iPhone 13 Pro Max
iPhone 13 Pro
iPhone 13
iPhone 13 Mini
iPhone SE
iPhone 11

I also think minimum storage on the 13 series line will increase to 128gb.
