An iphone 4s on a 12 month contract is good ,and as far as i can see is not available on their website, so you must be an existing customer on a reoccurring contract.

I'm on a really old contract maybe 6 years, when i got a crappy phone with it, never bothered me as i loved the contract, ok maybe love is a little strong but suited me, they randomly offered me an iphone 4s when i went in the store looking for a new phone, had to renew the same contract for 12 month, but didn't really bother me seen as i'd had it so long.

I'm on a Sprint family plan, with 3 lines (2 are mine), unlimited everything, except landline minutes, which are at 1500 a month and we don't use.

Same here. Sprint has unlimited every thing.

$10 for 100 text messages on one of the lines (the other two lines use iMessage only)
-$8.50 for my work discount

Total is $126.50 plus tax, government fees, etc.

Grandfathered

With my Verizon Business Plan, I am Grandfathered for Unlimited Everything, except landlines(15m free total) for each iPhone being $45.98. (15.99 basic plan, 29.99 unlimited Data,text).

I have 27 Lines with my Business

I can still add New iPhones and Lines to my Account with the same plans.

Only thing I can't add unlimited on are our iPads, $20 for 2GB.

I'm on AT&T and I have unlimited text, unlimited data, and I think either 300 or 500 minutes with free mobile to mobile calls. Around $60 a month.

Exactly. I can't believe how much $ people are forking over to these behemoths every month. Now wonder they feel like kings!

My monthly cost for an iPhone 4S is about $8.50 and yes I have 3G data and all the other stuff. I rarely talk on the phone, do all text through Google Voice, and data use via cellular is pretty light.

If you must have all those voice minutes and "real" SMS I would look in to some of the other prepaid ATT MVNO options, such as Straight Talk, Red Pocket, AirVoice, etc. Much, much better deals.

Sure I paid more for the phone but I'm not locked in to a contract, and I never will be again! Just add up what your total $ spent over 12 or 24 months is and you will see that even $700 up-front is a good deal.

1,500 Minutes, Unlimited Text/Data. Sprint's speeds are not the best but i am always near wifi when at a location and never use my phone when driving.

129.99 plus 10 dollars each for smart phone fee brings it to 149.99 each month.

So I recently changed my plan a bit (upped my data) with VZW. I have a 4s with unlimited minutes and texts, 5gb of data, insurance. Monthly total without tax is now $150. I seem to be paying a lot more than what everyone else pays more for a single line. >_<

Maybe I need to downgrade my minutes but I hate having to monitor my voice usage.

Bought a Sim free iPhone 4S from Apple UK for £510.

On 3 Network and pay £25 per month for 2000 minutes, 5000 SMS, Unlimited (no cap) data and full tethering. 1 month rolling contract.

Tried all the UK carriers apart from Virgin, and have to say I've been by far the most happiest with 3.
