what program is best to SSH into iPhone?

i remember back when i had my iphone 1st gen it was WinSCP, is that still the best recommended?

i cant stand inputting ip address, name and pass everytime especially when im on/off playing around with a theme lol

FileZilla is a good one on Windows. CyberDuck on Mac OS X.

I still use WinSCP works great. And why don't you save your session so you don't have to input stuff to log in?

Mac use Fugu or YummyFTP. Throw that copy of Cyberduck in the river.

I used WinSCP for a while but then discovered iphone explorer. Must faster to connect via usb imo.

as mentioned before, for Windows WinSCP is pretty much standard (For using SSH), however if all you are doing is Themes and sounds, you will find that iPhone Explorer and iPhoneDisk are pretty much easier (not IP, password required, not even a wifi connection) connect your phone using the USB cable and mount the drive locally.

I get a kick out of all the newbies asking about "ssh apps" and then the conversation turns to basically scp apps.

I personally use Terminal.app for both ssh and scp functions. I know what ~ means though.

OpenSSH from Cydia and the CyberDuck (on a Mac OSX). Both free and easy to use.

Yes, your IPhone has to be jailroken in order to SSH into it.

Much easier, put it in your iPod via iTunes.
