What program to scan off of scanner?

I'm tryin to scan a resume off of a HP C4400. Just by using the printer itself it's telling me to try to scan from the computer.

I've opened up iPhoto and was looking for some type of capture image tab. Couldnt find it. I opened up capture image and it says nothing was found.


Anybody know how do I go about getting images off of this scanner?? I know the unit works, I print off of it everyday.

Try Image Capture. It's in your Applications folder.

There's also newish drivers and software for that machine. Have you installed them correctly?

It's telling me there is no device connected when I tried it. It's wierd because I can print off of this C4400.

The machine is connected directly through USB, right? Not through an Airport Express or other wireless? Try the links above first, though.
