    Hey,
I own a Macbook Pro from feb 2008 (the cheapest one)
It came with 2 GB RAM.
I'm about to edit a music video that'll be recorded on HD with P2 cards.
Should I get more RAM? Can I put more in the laptop than 4 GB?
What RAM do you guys recommend?
    Thank you
    Sanne

Offically supports up to 4 GB (2x 2 GB); Unofficially, system supports up to 8 GB (2x 4 GB)

"YES 6GB WORKS IN THE MACBOOK & MACBOOK PRO & IMAC EVEN IF APPLE SAYS THEY DON'T OFFICIALLY SUPPORT IT.

8GB WORKS BUT THERE IS A FEW ISSUES "

I always use OWC RAM, as it's usually on the cheaper spectrum of RAM and is just as good as any other, more expensive RAM (cough, cough, Crucial). Hasn't failed me yet! ;)
