What "Rev" is my PowerBook?

Can someone please explain what it means when someone says "Rev B" or whatever? I'm assuming that means revision, but I don't know.

Also, I have a 3 month old 15" PowerBook G4, can someone tell me what Rev it is?

i am guessing it is Revision D, does it have the scroll trackpad?

Last update, according to the buyers guide, was in January which I think was Rev. D.

revisions are changed when a model is updated (usually happens every 6-8 months) BTW the powerbook was updated in February i think
