What ringtones do you use on your iPhone?

Could someone explain how to customize ringtones or does the device need to be jail broken first?

SETTINGS>SOUNDS for the default ringtone

CONTACTS>person>EDIT for assigning a particular sound to a particular person

You have to use iTunes to install custom ringtones on the iPhone.
 
maybe I wasn't clear.

How can I use a certain song in my itunes or media file as ringtones?
 
im looking for some sounds for SMS messages. i dont want to hear some movie sound clip, or some song from itunes. would like a gallery of just simple sounds. is there a decent website to check out?
 
Professional Sounding Ringtones

I use and really like the ringtones from iRing Pro (www.iringpro.com). They have 3 different ring tone packs and they are all are interesting and unique. Each pack comes with over 40/50 different tones. I'm a professional so really can't have some ridiculous ring tone go off while in a meeting or with a client. I also seem to get quite a few compliments on them.

If you're looking for simple SMS sounds you'd have to jailbreak your phone. That being said, if you are willing to take that step, my company offers an SMS tone pack as part of our beta program.

Follow the link in my signature or DM me for more details on how to join our beta. The beta will only run for another month or so, but if you join you'll get access to nearly 100 normal ringtones and about 20 SMS tones.
