Daley Thompson's Decathlon, but it doesn't half knacker your wrist unless your brother or a friend can take over half way through the race.

i can't really say that any of the Olympic sports interest me enough to just sit down and watch them. if i had to choose one it'd be the US Basketball team and maybe the swimming/diving but thats about it.

the 100m race is what everyone is anticipating for, its the most *watched* and most *popluar* event, Usain Bolt has been really edgey, yohan blake ran 9.75 and left bolt behind, also tyson gay looks in good form, but then we also have the first ever white man to run under 10 seconds, those are the four to watch for, i believe yohan will either have the right confidence and destroy everyone as he is getting better and better and better, or he will be over confident for beating bolt and suffer complacency.

but generally i like watching the gymnastics i watch it the most.

I take my previous statement back. If I watch anything of the Summer Olympics, it's going to be the track finals with their 1 false start and you're done rule, so I can see the outrage live when someone like Bolt is drawn off and is DQ'ed. Will be hilarious.

I like volleyball best, both beach and indoor. Swimming is fun to watch because of the drama and of course the sprinting events in track and field have the same appeal. The rest of the sports fascinate me in that "holy cow" kind of way. Seeing people play things like ping pong or badminton at that level are just crazy. The sheer power, precise balance, and skill of gymnastics is amazing. The air rifle shooters look like cyborgs with all of that gear on them. I haven't been able to see any trampoline yet, but that's just insane. I could probably keep going as all of it is really interesting, but like I said before the only sport I really sit and watch from start to finish is volleyball.

I've been enjoying all of it.... with the exception of the horse ballet.

It's been fascinating to watch the ecstasy and agony of the winners and losers. Very intense.

Table tennis, and hopefully the MTBing will be good when that starts.
