I know there's lots of threads wondering about the next refresh of MBPs. But I specifically want to know what kind of screen people think the next MBPs will have.

Like for the 15" model, do you think they will stick with the current 16:10 aspect ratio and 1440x900 resolution? Or will they move to the 16:9 aspect ratio like all other laptop manufacturers have (resulting in a 1366x768 or 1600x900 resolution)?

If Apple did that they'd be bankrupt within a year.

I think Apple will keep 16:10 for the aspect ratio. When they released the new Air, only the 11.6 model is 16:9 mainly for the size.

For the resolution, I want to say that everything will get a bump up just like the Air models did, so the 13" will go to 1440x900, and the 15" will go to 1680x1050 (and then have a 1920x1200 option).

    I don't think they'll bring the 15'' to as much as 1920x1200!

Matter of fact I have been very (positively) surprised seeing the hi-res option being offered.
