I have my brightness and volume both set to 75%. The Ultra is bright enough that I can probably bring down the brightness to 50%, but I don’t know if that would even make a significant difference in battery life.

I've never adjusted them AFAIK nor felt the need to, but I just checked and my brightness is at 50% and my alert volume sliders is a little over 50%. Series 6.

No sound and lowest brightness setting.
Series 4.
Vibration is all I need to alert me while I’m awake.

This except also 50% with sound on my Series 8. I’ve never felt the need to adjust brightness and sound is usually muted

I go back and forth between 100% brightness and one less, which to me seems like 66% since there are 3 options only, is this what folks saying 50% mean? Anyway I do like 100% brightness but it seems a little overly bright sometimes so currently or usually I’m at the one step less than 100%.

Once in a while I have the sound on by accident or on purpose, and it’s cool for the novelty of it, but very quickly I return it to mute, I just don’t need it when the vibrations are working.

Both my brightness and sound are at 50%. I do have the sound except when I’m at work when I put my watch on silent as the regular dings from notifications can annoy others around me. My phone has the ringer on though as it’s usually in my pocket which does muffle the sound some what.

I have both set to 100%. Battery life is simply outstanding. Would it be better if I decreased both, possibly, but I don’t foresee being stranded in the woods anytime in my immediate future. As it is I can go 2-3 days between charges. I’m happy.
