My 9/25 orders for three phones have also been updated for 9/19 delivery.

So it looks like colors like Blue and Orange that received a 9/25 date are starting to fall back to 9/19 - anyone with a silver PM 512 GB had that happen yet? Asking for a friend 
I have a orange PM 256 Verizon and it's still 25th. Really hoping it will change. Seem like I'm the odd man out right now for some reason.

Just checked mine, I completed purchase about 10 minutes after going live on Apple site, mine still says 9/25. As I posted previously, I was given a 9/25 date but got a text late yesterday saying my order has been updated and is scheduled for 9/19!
Still sitting at 9/25 for my 1TB silver PM. Weirdly didn’t get a confirmation email this year, either. 😐
Ordered mine Thru Verizon’s site( several years ago I switched to the Carrier site due to issues with Apple orders the prior 2 years)IP17 Pro Max Cosmic Orange, 512GB deliver on 9/19 - already received the Order shipped email from Verizon
I purchased at 5:05am PST - Pro Max Orange 1T AT&T. It still says 25th and in the preparing order stage, but my card has yet to be charged. Maybe it will update once the card is charged.
My BF got his at the exact same time Pro Max Silver 512 AT&T and his updated from 25th to 19th around 5pm PST last night. In preparing to ship phase. His credit card has been charged.
I think it’s dependent on which orders they are processing. Hopefully they just haven’t gotten to mine yet and it will update to 19th once processed.
I’ve been in the preorder thread, now here. So far, I’m the only one that’s not getting a date within the current calendar month! Oct 6-Oct 13. This sucks.

I would've just ordered, but I drove to the Apple store to see if they had displays so that's the reasoning for the delay. Still not even sure I made the right model/color choice. I may have even went with the air if I could've seen it in person. Apple employee said that some models were already pushed back to an October ship date, so I just went ahead and ordered the pro max.

Same here. I ordered yesterday morning and my date range was Oct 7 - 14. Pro max silver 512 (US)

Edit: would like to add that I had to wait for the veterans website to open for 27 full minutes. What gives with Apple doing this?

Check on Apple's site/Store App at 8am EST this Friday. There is always some stock that becomes available for store pickup on launch day. You might be able to snag one that way and then can cancel your other order. I did that one year when I got an October delivery date.
Pre-orders in Malaysia started at 20:00 hrs on Friday 12 Sept in Malaysia. I was 12th in line when I started queuing at about 19:15 at my local Apple Premium Partner store (Switch) in Penang as the closest official Apple Store to me is in Kuala Lumpur, about 3 1/2 hours drive away. I reached my turn at about 20:30, locked in my pre-orders of two Cosmic Orange 1 TB 17 Pro Max, but they didn't have an ETA for me. So here's to hoping I get at least one of the two units on launch day.
Yea not a fan of the Milanese loop. I do have a cheap version of the Apple band I was using. But most of the time I’ll be wearing the ocean band.
I was on Apple.com at 8:00 EDT. I got the screen "Please stay on this screen until we can get you in to pre-order". I stayed about 20 minutes and figured I missed it. Went to play Pickleball. At 8:40, I checked again on my phone and was in! I ordered the 17 Pro 1 TB Deep Blue. Apple Pay charged and to be delivered on 9/19.
