    Hi all,

I had Windows 8 installed via Bootcamp on Mavericks.

It worked fine after updating to mavericks, and suddenly one day for no apparent reason, I booted and it said no drive found or something.

I read some threads on how to fix similar problems. One particular one said to run

    sudo fdsisk -e /dev/rdisk0

    followed by

    setpid 4

    followed by

    07

    followed by

    flag 4

    followed by

    write

I did this. Here is the current way it looks now:

    Code:
    fdisk: 1> print
    Disk: /dev/rdisk0	geometry: 121601/255/63 [1953525168 sectors]
    Offset: 0	Signature: 0xAA55
             Starting Ending
#: id cyl hd sec - cyl hd sec [ start - size]
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
     1: EE 1023 254 63 - 1023 254 63 [ 1 - 1953525167] <Unknown ID>
     2: 00 0 0 0 - 0 0 0 [ 0 - 0] unused
     3: 00 0 0 0 - 0 0 0 [ 0 - 0] unused
    *4: 07 0 0 0 - 0 0 0 [ 0 - 0] HPFS/QNX/AUX
Now when I reboot, its just a blinking _ cursor with no output.

Is this still wrong? What should I set it to?

I dont have any crazy use cases like multiple boot OS's or anything. I have OSX 10.9, iMac Late 2012. And windows 8 installed on my bootcamp, that's it.

    Thanks!
