I know there are a million of these threads so I will apologize in advance.

I've narrowed it down to a 13" MBA but I am unsure which version I should buy? My current early 2011 MBP has died after a great 5+ years. I need a computer pretty quickly right now.

My local Apple store has the i5 version in stock but it looks like the i7 version will be available in two weeks, and of course at an additional cost. Am I going to regret going with the i5 model? Should I wait the two painful weeks for the i7 model?

If you read the other 233,301,000,398 threads you will find that people will either suggest for you what they have bought or point out there is no way to make an informed suggestion if you don't say what you are intending to use it for.

The i7 will be a maximum of 20% faster for the extra $150. Unless you are making money using the computer (where time=money), it's probably not worth the upgrade.

Now, now. Just stating the facts. State your needs and you are bound to get a lot of useful replies. Otherwise the only useful reply is really what I gave you already. :)
