what should i do with cracked screen 2g

i have a 2g not being used the screen is cracked. is it worth something do i fix it or trash it.

It can be fixed but it is one helluva job mate. The touchscreen/digitiser are sealed to the top layer glass, the latter is probably where the crack is but the are very difficult to separate. Just have a look on youtube and you will have an idea of where im comming from.

Ithink it can be replaced by apple. Out Of Warranty cost is pretty reasonable. In the UK its £146 Think the US cost is around $119 might be worth thinking about this and you will have a shiny newbie iphone...Or you could put it to auction and see what you get for it...good luck

figure out how much it would cost to fix
figure out how much you can sell it for broken
figure out how much can sell it for fixed

If fixing it will make you more money then selling it broken then fix it, if not just sell it for parts as- is

On topic: I see Craigslist iPhone fro sale around 100$ for parts. I'm sure someone, somewhere, needs a part other than screen for their iPhone.
