I want something else. I have a iPad 1st gen 64GB + 3G. I wanna get either an iPad 2 with atleast 32GB or PS3 Slim or Xbox 360 slim plus cash. I already have a 2011 MBP & iPhone 4. What would you do?!

Do You think I would miss not having one and having a game system instead? I'm a senior in high school.

I need atleast 32GB.

you will be lucky if you can get $500 for the 64GB + 3G since there are so many 1st generation iPads being sold for discounted prices at the moment. If you want to sell your first gen iPad - sell it now while iPad 2 stock is still scarce.

If I were you, I would keep the iPad 1, and sell it when the iPad 3 comes out. It is still one of the best gadgets you can own - not much different from the iPad 2, and with your current setup you have plenty of storage and 3G.

I'm not wanting smart remarks. I just want an honest opinion on what I should decide. I love my iPad. But I miss playin games after work or something.

Thanks for your feed back man :)

If your referring to me then it was not a smart remark, everyones needs and wants are different and its impractical to ask and online forum of random people what your wants and needs are.

I have a PS3 Slim and an iPad 2 and they serve two completely different needs for me, I use them both daily but each for a different purposes. Will I give either one of them up, nope.

Before I had any Apple products, I had a game system. After buying an iMac and iPad, I ended up selling my game system. Games for consoles to me are sort of a dead end (unless they are arcade machines).

From an environmental standpoint, I would keep your iPad until it no longer works and then buy another Apple product.

So, my answer is stay with what you have, but if you need to buy something else, I would upgrade to an iPad 2 rather than a 360 or PS3.

I wouldn't buy a PS3 after what happened with the Playstation Network though.

Honestly, the only reason I would even think about buying a game console would be for the new Mortal Kombat game - that looks really good, but I still don't find it worth it.

What happened to Playstation Network?

I bought an Xbox 360 when I went off to college, but it sits pretty much unused now. Most of the games I play with my friends are through Steam on Mac/Windows.
