Ordered a 15" hi res glossy on thursday not really worried about the little bit extra power from a 2.0 to 2.2 but will the one I just got be discounted and then I can use apples price guarantee to get some money back ?

If it's not too late to cancel, you can cancel and order one of the updated models out today.

If not don't open the box when you receive it and return it to Apple and get an updated one.

There is a chance that the one you ordered might be a new one.

While the speed bump for the CPU is insignificant the graphics upgrade is worth getting an updated one over last weeks model.

i am in the same boat, as I just ordered the 15" CTO last thursday.

so I called up Apple support this morning asking about what I should do, she said that my order was intentionally grounded and updated to the spec bumped version, and that I didn't have to do anything on my part.

oh thats better then what I got when i called this morning they said oh well you could get either but your safer bet is to cancel and reorder

I am in a simular situation, but with Best Buy. Do y'all know how they handle things like this? I got the basic 15 MBP about 2 weeks ago.
