What should i do????

I have a powermac G4 667 with a busted HD. I was thinking of getting a new HD and upgrading my CD-R to a DVD- ROM or burner so i can install Tiger.
If any one can lead me to the right direction on where to buy these upgrades i would appreciate it.

Or

Sell it as is with no HD,keyboard and mouse and get a mac mini. (how much do you think i can get for my G4 for?)

Thank you :)

Just buy the new HD it is very cheap nowadays
don't know the best place for you to buy where you live though.
if you really need DVD-burner get an external, they are better and faster. I used mine to install Tiger onto my G3 imac.
or else get tiger on CD's , though I think Tiger sucks...

How is an external DVD burner faster than an internal?

Check out newegg.com for hard drives and DVD burners. Any 3.5" IDE hard drive you find there will work with your Power Mac. For DVD burners, stick with Pioneer as they are the "superdrives" that come with new Apple computers.

I would suggest OWC for your HD and upgrading to DVD ROM.

I doubt that you would get much for a G4 with no HD. You could always check eBay for what your G4 is currently selling. They would also expect the keyboard and mouse.
