What should I Get?

I have some extra money I want to spend and i need some help deciding on what i should get.

1. 160 GB External Hard Drive + 1 GB extra RAM for my MBP
2. MBP AppleCare
3. Something Else (tell me what)

I personally would go with number 1.

Number 1. unless problems are creeping up on your MBP, then #2.

Applecare seems like a safe bet, but you have a whole year after your purchase to buy it. So maybe the External Drive and RAM now and ask for Applecare for your winter holiday present?
