edit: you know what, I'm gonna comment. rockit you don't have to talk down on people who've commented on this thread. maybe if you check yourself, you are on a macrumors site. so everything is revolved around rumors. more than likely the leaks we've seen have some significant credibility on them. so based on that, I've created this thread. now if you don't want to make a selection and a contribution, you can skip the thread and just keep it shut.

I'm probably gonna get gold again till the novelty wears down.. I have the gold 5s and the space gray rMini.
so maybe gold 6 4.7 and black 5.5. for the ipad rMini 2 I don't know, maybe gold or silver. Lulz

Same. Switched to Mobile Share Value so now that I have discounted monthly rates (currently paying $160 for 4 lines vs $240 previously), I'm waiting to see what the new iPhone brings to the table before deciding on whether I should buy. If I'm buying though, it'll quite likely be the smaller model with black bezel.

People plan to buy mobile electronics before they're announced all of the time. Not sure why you think this is an Apple fanboy thing. You'll find the same thing on an Android forum.

I think this statement is less true than ever before. It seems more and more of my friends are going Android and Windows and not many are coming back...

Why would it not be interesting to know which size people want when it's the first time ever that Apple is going to release two size at the same time?
Anyway, I want to know what the benefits of the 5.5" models are. If the apps are just blown up and it offers nothing special I'll get the more convenient 4.7" one. My current 6" Lumia 1520 has a very nice screen size too though.

Believe me - Apple cares. They're in it to make money. They're not in it to lose money. Never forget that.
It's way to early to know, but I will likely sit this one out. The only thing that would probably change my mind is a significant improvement in battery life and that does not seem likely.

If the rumors are correct, I'll be getting a gray 4.7". I'm a little miffed that a report I saw earlier says that the camera will only have OIS on the 5.5" model. I hope that's wrong. I really want apple to be the one that puts all the same high end features in phones of different sizes. That, and I have no desire for a 5.5" phone.
