I ordered a 16 for a couple of reasons. First, its the cheapest. Second, I'm willing to bet in a year we'll see a retina version and I'll upgrade to the 32 then and probably give my 11 yr old daughter the original mini. She just got my original iPad. I'll probably sell the original iPad at that time.
I just think it will be easier to sell because usually people tend to look for the best when buying used... wether it's correct or not, that's my underlying psychology.
Lol... IF people truly want the best and pay that premium, they would bought one brand new from Apple already.
Lots of people who buy second hand don't want to spend that much money in first place, and they want to pay the least possible.
Besides, from my experience, screen protectors/cases (spotless iPad / iPhone) don't add a whole lot of value. A mint condition device on resell market can probably afford you to sell it a little faster and maybe like $20 more. when you consider th cost of paying $100 (somewhere around there) for the screen protection and the case, and getting marginally more than a device that's not perfect but decent (with only a few scuffs or scratches), you will realize how much of a waste of money it is
