what skype can be used on ibook g3 w/Tiger?

Just decided to use an old ibook g3 I had sitting around for travel purposes. Installed Tiger and upgraded to 10.4.11. Downloaded Skype 2.8 (was the only one available) when you try to open skype, crashes. Anyone know what to do?

OS-wise, you're fine so it must just be a processor issue...

If you click the link I gave you, it has virtually every old version of Skype for the Mac. Time to guess and check with the older revisions!

Try using 2.6.0.151
It worked for me.
However, the video seems not to work on any version.

My PowerMac G5 has a hard time running Skype. Audio takes a bit to synch, and video freezes after 5 min or so. Good luck!
