What software to test used MP before purchase?

I'm looking at the HP 5,1 this weekend and I was wondering what software I should use to test it?

Are there any free options?

ASD (Apple Service Diagnostics) is your best bet! It's free but not freely distributed, surely not on MacRumors. It will be a violation against forum rules. PM me if you feel the need to see the big "PASSED" in green on the screen! 😉
