What song is playing in the background?
Probably an in-house composition.
Do you know what artist possibly helped Apple create it? They tend to hire the help of others, just like how Owl City made some ringtones for iOS 7.
No clue if they contracted an artist to help with it/do it, and if they did, who it might've been. Sorry.
The music was UNBELIEVABLE!!
I'm a huge Dr. Dre fan and I Hear some Dre in there. SOME.
I've been looking for the answer to this question. The music won't leave me.
Apple Watch Reveal
Well I just got off the phone with Apple (1-800-MYAPPLE) and the guy I spoke with said that his manger was at the keynote and he said it was an in house producer like a DJ person who provided the piece; meaning the guy who composed the song is relatively unknown for the time being. However he gave me a link (http://applemusic.info) for the Key Note Presentation that show cases all the music played that day...so to those who too were a fan of the beautiful piece played during the Apple Watch reveal, we remain in limbo for a while longer.....#
Don't know the songs (probably are made in house) but here are the sound mp3's I grabbed:
Apple Watch Reveal Music
iPhone 6 Intro Music
wow if he's unknown Apple just hit a jackpot with this guy. it sounds extremely professional and better than everything else out there.
If you listen to the drums, strings and brass, they sound Dre-like. I'm thinking Apple might already put him into good use.
He makes some of the best commercial music so I've been hoping they use him for that. He's made various memorable commercial music.
here's my favorite:
My husband and I were trying to figure it out as well. We thought Dre. He played the video several times in a row when we first watched it.
Song from YouTube Video
Here is the song from the youtube video without all the clicks:
This is essentially the original song considering it is an in house tune.
Shoulda been Taps. Jusy sayin'.
Damn I love that track!
The group is Holychild!
The song is "Running Behind" by Holychild, whose artists are Liz Nistico and Louie Diller.
Here's a website where you can learn more about them and their other music. Enjoy!
That's not the song the OP was referring to.
Darude - Sandstorm
Not even close.
Darude - Sandstorm
No way. The watch is in that case in the music video. It's all connected.
