I like to download originals for photos and keep my entire music library local. I was at 230 GB of my 256 GB before.

For the first time I was able to buy the base size. My last phone was the SE gen. 1, when the largest size was 64GB.

I ordered the 128gb but don't know if I should change it to the 256gb...
Currently have a 11 Pro and use 70/256gb so that's why I went with the base storage. Most of my storage is downloaded music, but could probably clear out most of it since albums on there that I haven't listened to in a long time. Don't take many photos unless I'm traveling, but usually once a month I transfer everything to my Mac and delete it off the phone.
Reasons I am considering 256gb is because people are saying the read/write speeds are much faster (don't know if it makes a difference for normal use), and because if Apple cancels the minis like some reports have been saying, I probably wouldn't upgrade my phone for a few years.

I bought the base size. Have never maxed out 128GB on previous phones, as I mostly use cloud storage and streaming.
