I would like to replace my 2010 13" pro (2.4). I am open to waiting for the Haswell updates since my current computer still works, just not at the level I would like. I also would feel comfortable buying now if all my needs are met (and I can get the BTS deal). The main thing I don't like about my current computer is that when I run anything with flash it gets really hot and sounds like a plane taking off. Do the current generation of Pros handle flash applications any better? Also, does anyone know how much faster the new generation of SSD (in the Air and upcoming Haswells) are compared to the current Retina SSDs? Will it even be a noticeable difference?

In some moment of my life.....

I used to be a heavy user of Flash. Had an Air and always run in the same issues you comment. Have a look into this links:

About the new SSDs, was reported here a performance gain. But you have to searh the thread.....😱
