$899 is "very cheap"? Dang. I want to be your child then.

huh? $899 is very cheap compared to the retail price of $2500. $899 is very cheap if you actually !learn! how to use all of the programs in the suite and design a business around content creation. I've known several web design students who pay the small outlay for a legit CS web premium license, who then went out and earned enough for the license, the computer, some peripherals , and some cash on the side, graduating with very tangible results under their belt. Then you have entire groups who work for, Apple, Microsoft et al where paying the $2500 (if that) for a couple of seats is a small drop in the bucket compared to the overall advertising budget, and way insignificant in comparison to the amount of revenue that will be gleaned from the exposure.

But I guess if you are a teenager making 'banners and sigs" or those obligitory "everything black and white except for a small portion of the image" compositions then I could see how something like photoshop would be too expensive .

That's why you should also pirate VMWare and a copy of Windows to run your trojaned pirated software on. Completely safe from your Mac. The performance hit will be the only price you pay....literally lol...

Joking...sort of :D

Sandboxing? That's always a good idea, honestly.

Yes $900 is "cheap" compared to the $2500, however in general, it's not cheap.

And no, I'm not making banners and sigs. Nor am I making money off of photoshop.

The copy of photoshop that I may or may not have, may or may not be used just for fun, or to see how it works and to see if I would actually want to have a career in a field that used it.

Exactly. Almost a semester of college for starters.

Lets not call it "Pirating" lets call it "Try before you buy";)
A full demo that won't expire? haha

God. How many more kittens must die before we humans learn to stop pirating stuff?
