sorry i didnt specify but this is pertaining to gmail accessed via the internet on my iphone. Looks almost like the mail app now. Istopped using the app a bit back due to its crappy functions. What are the changes?
I know a few sites that only check if you're using a mobile device from the main page... so if get into the site a different way, you can access the real website.. (although i doubt theres a way to do this with gmail...)As i've said in another similar thread. This is mobile discrimination! . I'm not knocking the mobile version I think it works great. I just don't like the fact that your not given a choice. Because your on a mobile device you are defaulted to the Mobile version
You're right Asked my roommate to check and he has IMAP under settings. What did I do wrong Gmail?!I read some were that they are not rolling IMAP out for some users. If you still haven't got it you probably wont get it.
Waiting game it is....We're working hard to roll out IMAP access to all our users, but it'll take about a week.
To use IMAP, you must have your interface language set to 'English (US)'. You'll know that IMAP is available in your account when the Forwarding and POP tab in your settings becomes Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Until then, thanks for your patience!
I guess you did nothing wrong. You're right Asked my roommate to check and he has IMAP under settings. What did I do wrong Gmail?!
