Oh no! Apple owes you ANSWERS! Especially to questions like "what do I do if I ever have a real problem in my life?"
You went to pretty much THE most well known Apple store. You should have expected it.
Well you see it works similar to traffic jams. The longer the line during a jam the longer you wait as other people in front of you inch forward.

Put the smack down on that ****, they are buying just to resell, get their asses to the back of the line.
An Apple employee just told me it is a 3 hour wait for preorders at the Grand Central store. Can anyone confirm? How long did you wait for a preorder?
Pretty sure the 5th ave cube store is the most well known apple store. Grand central is in a high profile area.
What do you want us to tell you? I'm sitting in the comfort of my own home awaiting my preorder. 😀
