You need to use a lighter wallpaper. iOS switches it automatically.

Iv been using that same green and white wallpaper b4 I ever saw it on here and mine is still white and that's the only thing I don't like about it

it's very easy to see emoji on a white background. you effectively see emoji on a white background every time you type with emoji on the phone.

the black overly on the icons is a bug.
