Alright, this is a pretty intense question. I have a digital camcorder, if I want to put a VHS tape in my VCR, and have the VCR directly play onto the camcorder, and have the camcorder recording what is playing on the VCR.

How would I do this?

Type of camcorder-Canon ELURA 2 MC

i have a sony digital camcorder and i would plug my camcorder into the line out of my VCR then i can see whats playing on my VCR through my camcorder viewfinder. once i can see whats playing from VCR on camcorder i then start recording using the VCR type features on my camcorder. sorry of this sounds confusing its really not. maybe someone can explain it better.
good luck

Look in the owner's manual for your camcorder. I have a Canon ZR 25 MC, and it tells step-by-step how to perform the operation you would like to do. I'm sure your Elura's Manual will also explain it.
