Can you please explain to me where you found see a$$hole in this reply.

He was merely pointing out that other threads like that exist... but yes some posters sometimes are a bit too strict with certain things..

I corrected this already!

What do you mean by attempted sarcasm? What is a successful way of being sarcastic??

Someone asks a question and someone attempts to be sarcastic by replying with one word replies. Successful sarcasm doesn't exist through text because not everyone will get it, simple as that. I read a lot of threads on here and I see so much ignorance and attacking the original poster because he/she didn't search or asked a "stupid" question. There are very fee people on here that are actually devoted to helping out a fellow member. I'm not saying you, I'm just saying in general. TipB has a much nicer online community.

Just my two cents.

K I understand better now, and you are correct there is no such thing as a stupid question and there are quite a few people whom are merely replying to bring up their post count. That being said in the last couple of years i have noticed that some questions have been asked way to many times ( i am not saying this is one of them just being general)

I checked out TipB and they only have 89,256 registered users while macrumors has 616000 so there is quite a difference in the amount of users hence there might (i am not saying there are) be a lot more ignorant people but a good tip is to put them on your ignore list so you can blend out their replies in threads.. :)

OK...

The "try searching before posting" comment was a little sarcastic but he ended his comments with a smile face so the statement did not come across to harsh IMHO.

We all know regardless of what ever forums you participate in, there's always that person out there that cant wait to post the "use search" message. They are in every online community and I always just ignore them.

Um Excuse me,

But don't you guys realize Troop is leading the Super Serious iPhone 5 Anticipatory Brigade? Please don't disrupt his work and efforts with these silly shenanigans...

How often have they had an Event and Pre-Order on the same day?

You're right, Carriers need to announce plans and upgrade options, O2 with the iPhone 4 announced upgrade special options, early upgrades and also only allowed current O2 customers at first. Carriers need to decide before pre ordering and give time to consumers, Otherwise panic and chaos. :D

Not only this Apple would have serious server issues, Normally you get a lot of people saying "oooeer" new apple product that was interesting, But that and pre orders would be just a big clump of traffic.

How often have they had an iPhone launch in the fall?

However true! No one Knows but thats my opinion.

If there are no invites today then what a huge FAIL it is for the so-called Apple bloggers and others who jumped on this bandwagon. Apple just gave a colossal middle finger collectively to the bloggers.

Media: Not so fast! We said Apple's plans would probably change. So we're still good!

Apple just wants to monopolize the interest. At the moment Windows 8 is on the news, so I think they will wait a couple of days.

I guess we will see. The HTC event isn't considered big....

Other tech being in the news means nothing. The second Apple does something major these days the rest of it gets bumped to the bottom.

Invites will be going out next week.

I agree, but there's a conspiracy theory going around here that Apple intentionally sends announcements during other company's high press events.

I think it's just coincidence. Apple has their own calendar that is far more important to them than what other companies are doing....unless it means beating those companies to market. But it's not about upstaging them.

I don't think Apple cares at all.

Even if they do, it can be explained in two ways.

1. They want to maximize their attention by having an event when they're the only one in the news
2. They want to minimize competition by stealing their thunder

However, I don't think Apple cares and I don't think they should.
