tomorrow is the day!
I read it and no where did I see the time. Just tomorrow which is old news. If you knew the answer wouldn't it be easier too say so instead of passing the buck?
I'm trying to find the time its dropped as well, we know it's the 16th but its midday 16th September in Australia and still not here. So finding out the time will be useful. At work now so doesn't matter until I go home, but still checking threads to find out when
People r saying 10am PST
Same time they release every other OS.....
Apple Inc. normally drops iOS updates between 9 and 10 a.m. PST
News sites are reporting 10:00am PST, so for me that's 1:00pm
6pm for me, is it not possible to stagger these releases?
Of course it is. Just wait an extra day or two.
I'll probably upgrade my phone+watch at the weekend. No rush. Less stress.
UGH...... it's gonna be a looooooong wait til i get home from work.....
Just as I get to work ugh
The servers are gonna be screwed anyways with two major updates on one day. I doubt that everyone's able to download it quickly. Was like that the last couple of times.
Possible yes, but then anyone on a later stagger will be extremely upset that they are the ones having to wait.
I guess complain about slow servers or complain about missing the early cut - pick your poison.
I am pretty sure that Apple will rent server time for the update. They have in the past. Still will be slow.
At least one thing is consistent with other releases: Update servers are down. 4-5 hours to go...
I'm still not seeing it. Phone is on 9.1, didn't add the watch profile from that beta to the watch app. Still not seeing 2.0 as available. SFO
Well, since it's currently 7:44 AM PST, it's not expected to be around for a few more hours.
iOS 8.4 came out at 8am PT
You may be right, I was already on betas at that point. However, it's still not 8 AM pacific either.
you are absolutely right!... sort of thought it was 01:00 EST.
I thought it was generally known that Apple releases their updates at 10:00am pacific/1:00pm EST. ^Interesting tho if 8.4 came out at 8:00am. Perhaps it is only major updates, or a general guideline of the usual timing then.
Either way, less than 2 hours now!
^ Lol, or not. For Watch OS at least...
That's the why. :-(
