iPad What to do to erase iPad Air prior to return?

I'm returning a 32 GB iPad Air to Apple tonight as my 128 GB came in.

I know I need to erase the data in settings but should I remove the sim card too and return it to Apple without the Sim card which undoubtedly has my info on it?

Doesn't the SIM card get erased when reset your iPad? When I sold my iPad 3 to my friend, all I did was a full reset on my iPad and called AT&T to let them know what I was doing. They suspended my account and I called them back with the numbers from the new SIM card and got everything going again for me. Is there personal info stored on that card that does not erase?

The SIM card is separate from the device. You can reset your device to factory default and the SIM card will not be affected. You'd need to go to the carrier to deactivate the SIM. No idea what personal info gets stored on SIM card but better safe than sorry.
