What to do with iMac with a cracked screen?

Late 2015 5k 27in, just upgraded the HD to SSD. Machine runs fine but has a cracked screen. Bad enough that it’s not worth saving… so my question is there any suggestions/options I can do with internals? I’m upgrading this year but would like to use this machine for something.
 
Hook up an external monitor or run it as a “headless” server?
Or find a screen on eBay maybe, you may get lucky.
