Hey guys, basically my White Macbook 5,2 is in for repair with the free case repair Apple offer for this model. Now when I sent it in, it also had a screen problem where the back light would keep turning off. After being told that I would have to purchase a new screen for around £350 I decided against fixing the screen as I was going to sell it for around £300 anyway, so saw no point.

Now I'm stuck as to what to do, I will have a new looking Macbook with a screen that works/doesn't work depending how it is sitting. The only thing you could do is use an external monitor.

How should I sell it? and where? Do Apple have a buy-back/recycle thing where I can get money off a Macbook Pro I am soon to purchase? Thanks guys.
