What to do with old iPhone 4

Or has anyone used Apple's recycling program and gotten a gift card for sending in their old iPhone? I wonder how much they give you...

I'd put it up on Craigslist, eBay, etc., if you'd like to recoup some of your money back.

The recycle program will estimate how much your iPhone 4 is worth if you answer some basic yes/no questions. They offered 75 or something for a 3GS (16 gb) but I think I'll pass up on that offer.

You can probably get more money on e-bay or craigslist but you have to deal with added hassle of customers and payments etc.

$180 for a perfect 4 with 16gb.

3gs still goes for $90.

I put mine on CL on Sunday, had it sold Sunday night 16g black, almost mint. Tiny nick in the corner of aluminum. $300. I was thrilled. Will upgrade to 32g 4S and be very happy.

If you don't want to sell it you could load some tv shows onto it and bye an HDMI cable to watch TV shows on your telle

• Use just for music or videos.
• Jailbreak and use to mess about with the homebrew scene.
• Leave as a backup phone in case anything happens to your 4S.
• Sell onto a private seller for $$$.
