Hi all,

what can I do with the original 12GB of Apple memory (bought 64GB Crucial memory), can I sell it to PC users? 🙄

Thanks!

Not to PC users no, I think it's non EEC, but plenty of people are still using the older MP, and selling to them ought to be an easy enough job. It's branded Apple RAM too, so that's a bonus.

Why would you offer advice when you don't know?

ECC RAM...says it right there.

You might consider holding onto it for a little just in case there is a problem and Apple needs to replace the nMP. They will want that "Apple" RAM back.

Thanks Macman. What's the value? 100 Euro?

I guess it really depends on who wants and needs it, but there won't be any issues selling it....I'd take a look around on eBay etc and see what others are asking...I also take the point about holding on to it just in case. Depends on how much you need the cash I guess.
