I remember getting something similar to this a while ago. I told them that I'd only buy if I could use an escrow service. They said something like "that's fine, just Western Union the money to us and we'll sort out the escrow for you"

I actually got the same email from this guy. I email him and asked
him if he could send the the laptop first and this is his reply.

The I talked to the WU customer rep and he the payment described by that guy is not true. So I send this guy another email and told him about this and this is his reply:

The customer rep of WU you talked to is a dumb person , and please dont be
the same , how can't you understand a simple thing. Just for the best
example i offer you to come to the ANY WU agent of your area and ask what do
you need to pickup money, and they will name you SENDERS ADRESS , NAME AND
AMOUNT . What comes out of words of this WU rep you can just come to WU
office and start yelling give me my money , my name is ***** ? that is not
possible , i just can't understand what these lazy person talk to you.

To me, the really suspect thing about this deal is that the money is to be sent under the name of the sales person involved. What reputable company does that? It should be under a company name.

There was a similar deal on ebay.com.au today, selling the same G5 with a 20" display as wel as a 23" display, for only $1900 aus. buy now price. It got taken off after about 2 hours with no reference of it being sold.

There are lots of scamming people out there.
