i would go with the 2.2 just becuase its the newer version of the mbp

2.2 is $1,799...regular $1,999...returned to local Apple store today.

if so get the 2.2

the 2.2 is a little slower, but its got better bus speed(should make up for the difference), and can handle 4gig of ram, and comes with a 8600GT M insted of the x1600 i love ati but lets face it the 8600 is a better video card

yes. you will get better performance on the 128 8600 GT than you would on the x1600 256
