That's easy to do when you throw out a lot of mail in ballots
I always tell people if the 2020 election was rigged so was the 2024 election. If 2024 was rigged so was 2020. Cheating does not magically stop/start. Also there are judicial processes to deal with things like this, that's why at the end of the day Trump lost 2020 because he couldn't prove it. How about everyone just accepts the results of all the elections. I know many won't on both sides, but it starts with each of no matter how we feel about it.

Tired of grade school stuff of when you lose saying the other side cheated! As far back I can remember that would be Al Gore, John Kerry, Donald Trump (taken to a *bit* more of an extreme granted) & Hillary Clinton. I actually think Kamala accepted the results and didn't cry about some form of interference or something, which I have respect for that.

Here’s hoping to having elections in 2028. I’ll bet you an iPhone 18 that a National Emergency will postpone your midterm elections.

Good luck America

It shouldn’t take Apple over a month to publish their quarterly earnings report.

it's gotta suck. One moment, you are all excited about delivering amazing new emojis powered exclusively by the latest chip in the new iPhone, ..then WHAM!, out of nowhere, tariffs!

Way overblown on the stock price. First off US hardware is only 20% of eps. Second Apple will probably use India and Brazil, absorb some, increase prices some and prob get some sort of exemption. Tim and co are supply chain and diplomatic geniuses. If they can navigate the covid virus then the can navigate Trump. This too shall pass.
None of that will help if the US and the world go into a prolonged global recession.

China will be subject to a 54% tariff, and Trump has threatened the country with additional tariffs. Apple could increase prices due to the tariffs, but the company may find creative ways to offset the added costs.
It's 104% now. 😂

The U.S. tariff rate on Chinese imports will shoot up to 104% at 12:01 a.m. ET on Wednesday, a White House official confirmed to CNBC.

Trump on Monday had threatened to raise existing tariffs on China by 50% on Wednesday unless Beijing dropped its retaliatory duties on U.S. goods by Tuesday.

That same day, Trump said he specified that China faced a deadline of “12 o’clock” to remove its tariffs.

Beijing vowed that it would not scrap its 34% retaliatory tariffs.

You are exactly right. The legitimacy of the government depends upon the legitimacy of the elections, and there is no call for doubting the outcomes just because we wish the outcomes were different. Thank you!

Trump just slapped 50% reciprocal tariffs on China starting tomorrow because China responded to the additional 34% tariffs on Chinese goods with their own 34% tariff on U.S. goods. This means Chinese imports into the U.S. will see a 104% duty starting at 12:01 a.m. ET on Wednesday (4/9/25).

Will China respond to this and how? Will Trump then respond in kind?

Second, you're only considering the impact of tariffs on U.S. sales. It doesn't seem as though you've considered the possibility that Chinese consumers could boycott Apple again out of nationalism and anger toward the tariffs. We could see a "Buy Chinese" movement similar to the "Buy Canadian" one. China is Apple's 2nd largest market. A boycott there will result in a big hit to Apple's sales and profits. If that happens then anyone buying $AAPL today would be overpaying.

You have no idea how this is going to play out and how far Trump and China are willing to go. China literally said they're willing to fight this to the end.

Vietnam offered to cut their tariffs to zero, but trade advisor Peter Navarro said that wasn't good enough and “means nothing.”

Before trump won the election, he already said he was going to do tariffs, so no it didn't come out of nowhere.

Apple is enjoying the Trump rollercoaster, as they have silently been increasing the prices around the world and not taking the blame. Even the Apple Cloth increased 5 dollars.

Conclusion: Less sales, more profit.

I mean, I consider myself to be a bit more well off than the average American, but I have zero plans to buy any Apple products for the foreseeable future with this calamity of chaos churning right now.

Classic Steve Winwood, “Give me a higher price” 🎶
Have a heart, man. Some of us are a little older in here and would consider classic Winwood to be something more like: “Account’s wasted and I can’t find my money, it’s gone.” Just take that on blind faith.
