mac mini with 48 or 63 Gb ram is what I want for now -
next year, until summer preferably, a mac studio M4 ultra close to the speed of nvidia 4090 in GPU performance and at least 256 Gb of unified ram

priorities changed - we have some models to run

thank you Apple on advance 😅

Summarizing TV shows would indeed save a lot of time. Or a “TV Playground” so that you can edit the shows to your liking.

I can't even edit the Apple TV app to my liking.

Have you heard the good news of Messi? Apple wants to make sure you know about Messi. You've heard of Messi right?! He's on Apple TV+!

Edit: sorry he's actually not even on TV+, he's on the other subscription they're promoting. Which reminds me, god help us all come baseball season again.

M4 13” MacBook Air for me, please!

Ok, the new base MacBook Pro with a 3rd USB port and 16GB RAM also sounds very tempting, but the Pro is just such a chunky monkey compared to the Air…

Remember how the Apple Silicon 8GB RAM was "different" and "better", which is why normal users don't really need more than 8GB?

I still use an 8GB MacBook Air M1 every day, with Xcode and Spotify and vast numbers of browser tabs open across 2 displays and it’s “fine”…

... that said, 16GB would be far better, and my next Mac will definitely have it 😉

Got to thinking it was time to replace my M1 Studio Mac with an M4 Mac Mini, but when I specced out the current ones in comparison, the Mac Mini updated to match the base Studio Mac, the Mini costs more when you include a 10GbE port. My network is 10 GbE and WIFI 7. So I'll be waiting for the M4 Studio Mac, and getting the base model for $1,999.00 and keep my files on external Thunderbolt/USB 4 drives and my 10GbE NAS.

Sadly, time to replace my 2015 27” iMac. Bought a 27” Studio Display on Prime Day. Ready to get Mac Mini with Pro chip on day one.

Looking forward to a M4 mini, I think I will upgrade from my 2018 Intel if the price is right and the base model has 16gb ram. If they continue to gimp it, I will wait for a refurb with 16gb.

Too bad we have to wait until next year for an M4 Mac Studio.
I want either a mini or a Studio, and now I have to guess the specs of the Studio and when it will be available. I can probably make a pretty good guess what the specs will be. But, when? It could be 3 months or 12 months. I hope it's not 12 months.
