Bought the AP3 and largely agree with you. They fit differently, and my ears are sculpted for the AP2 better. However, once you find the right eartips, the noise cancellation and sound quality are substantially better.Tried AirPods Pro 3 at an Apple Store and the AirPods Pro 2 fit way better. Didn't notice any difference in noise cancellation when comparing at the two at the busy store.
Do you mean aftermarket tips [or] the right size in the new foam tips? I tried different sizes in the new eartips at the store as well and it didn't make a difference for me.Bought the AP3 and largely agree with you. I am so glad people are mentioning this. I've been trying both the AirPods Pro 3 and the AirPods 4. I wore the Pro 3's to work for a week straight, leaving them in most of the day. Ear wax impaction after. My ear canals are tiny, so I'm prone to it anyway. I've been wearing the AirPods 4 since then, and I think I'll choose them over the Pro 3's. No issues. Barely even any wax on the buds themselves.more ear wax impaction
Nope, Apple's tips. I hear you. The new Pros seem designed to actually twist into your ear rather than mold to it, seemingly in an effort by Apple to keep them from falling out. It kind of works but YMMVDo you mean aftermarket tips of the right size in the new foam tips? I tried different sizes in the new eartips at the store as well and it didn't make a difference for me.
