Come on, Macrumors: they're not going to put an H3 chip in them and still call them the AirPods Pro 3...they'll either be the AP4 or AirPods Ultra.

Tried AirPods Pro 3 at an Apple Store and the AirPods Pro 2 fit way better. Didn't notice any difference in noise cancellation when comparing at the two at the busy store.

Bought the AP3 and largely agree with you. They fit differently, and my ears are sculpted for the AP2 better. However, once you find the right eartips, the noise cancellation and sound quality are substantially better.

Do you mean aftermarket tips [or] the right size in the new foam tips? I tried different sizes in the new eartips at the store as well and it didn't make a difference for me.

New chip is a given. Expecting some form of audio quality improvement. New gestures will be there but don't know whether it will be due to the sensors or the sensors are for some other reason. Expecting price to be the same.

Yeah no way if they add cameras and upgrade the chip and the Bluetooth and any other health features that they call it app3 (version 2). This imhas Air Pods Pro 4 written ALL OVA IT.

I’m excited because duh, it’s Apple and also because I’m skipping Pro 3 as my pro 2s still have another yr (?) of Apple care +….

It would be real nice is phone calls get. A Huge upgrade, although I’m not sure if pro 3s have better outgoing call quality or not …even still, better and better is always good too…

more ear wax impaction
I am so glad people are mentioning this. I've been trying both the AirPods Pro 3 and the AirPods 4. I wore the Pro 3's to work for a week straight, leaving them in most of the day. Ear wax impaction after. My ear canals are tiny, so I'm prone to it anyway. I've been wearing the AirPods 4 since then, and I think I'll choose them over the Pro 3's. No issues. Barely even any wax on the buds themselves.

Why do people keep uncritically repeating the cameras-in-earbuds rumor as if it makes any sense whatsoever? What are they going to be pointed at? How will they deal with users who have hair or ears that stick out? How exactly would images be transmitted from the earbuds? AirPods lack the bandwidth for lossless audio. Where is the bandwidth for even monochromatic IR video or still images? How would the teeny batteries power these cameras for more than a few minutes?

There are so many things that need explanation before this rumor should be repeated in any way other than derisively.

Nope, Apple's tips. I hear you. The new Pros seem designed to actually twist into your ear rather than mold to it, seemingly in an effort by Apple to keep them from falling out. It kind of works but YMMV

You forgot to tell us what Mark Gurman is having for dinner tonight. Come on this is such nonsense You mean Apple is working on the next iteration of AirPods? Oh man who could have ever imagined this was going to happen! And the next chip will be the H3? Thank you for helping us count, again that is quite surprising they would go from the H2 to the H3! Bloomberg must be raking in the bucks off of all this exposure to their paid newsletter to actually put their name and reputation behind all of this clickbait.
