I believe, as Apple have a reason for EVERYTHING.

Let's start with the "Let's Talk iPhone" image.

Obviously we have the "Tuesday 4th" with the clock saying "10am 00Seconds". The Maps icon indicating "1 Infinant Loop" obviously the home of Apple.
But what about the phone and te missed call?

Why just the "One" missed call? Or is it even a missed call?

Maybe it's symbolising "1 new phone"?

There has been lots of speculation about a 4s and a 5... Maybe it's just the one?

What do you think?

I think there will be an iPhone 5 and a 4S as the low-priced one. It just sounds right.

If they do that, they have an all-new redesign, and then a lower-end one that is still better than the existing iPhone 4.

3D camera, ew pass.
Megapixel war is overrate, overhyped, and pointless.
5MP is plenty, improve ISO performance!

4G is meaningless.
HSPA+ radio would not work on many partner carriers.
LTE radio is a huge battery drain, and extremely small market.

I dont understand why so Many peoe think that apple will release 2 iPhone models...they will never release two new models in the same competing market at the same time it just doesn't make sense for apple and isnt an apple-esk move...they will most likely release a iPhone 4S with the the new assistant feature and some other enticing feature to make u "need" it and just cut the price on the current iPhone 4...let's be realistic no iPhone 5 till late 2012

Even though this thread has been created multiple times, I will post what I read in another thread that made sense to me.

On the iPhone, when there is a " 1 " next to the iPhone app, it signals we have a missed call/message. It's simple, the 1 signalizes that Tim Cook/Steve Jobs/Apple has a message for us. That message being that there is going to be a new iPhone.

until you understand the market you cannot possibly make assumptions like that. Just because it isnt an 'Apple'esk' move does not mean it wont happen. The market changes all the time.

Let's just put it this way: I don't see apple hiring you to their marketing staff.

I think a large focus will be how iOS devices are used with other devices to create super devices.

I really think we will see iOS devices will be expanded to AirPlay across other platforms like osx so that it's an essential product to have to be able to utilise such.
