That's it, I'm going to buy. Before I pull the trigger, what am I really going to miss out on when they get updated in the near future? Honestly, I can do without the HD stuff. I figure I can just get that drive in 1 year for $100. What I don't want to miss out on is a whole new design, and major upgrades to the Mac Pro. What do you think will be in the next release of the Mac Pro?

I have been waiting for a while and on a whim went into one of the closing compusa stores and picked up a 2.66 Quad Core with a 30" for a pretty decent price. I look at it this way, the majority of what I do is Photography with some video editing.. Worst case what can happen..
Processors drop in price and you can always swap out the dual cores for quads.
I upgraded to 6gb of Ram and threw in 2 500 drives.. I think I'll be set for a while 🙂
