Perhaps that meal is not a bad idea. Both of you may consider yourself 'cheap' but a nice meal is a nice meal if you see what I mean. A perfect night is something you remember for a while.

Personally, the gifts that I value the most come from the heart rather than the pocketbook.
The photobook is definitely a way to express yourself to your SO.

Tea is always good. I have a bunch I want to try, including Lapsang. I've had teas from Wuyi, but never Lapsang Souchong. I also want to try some mighty leaf teas, some adagio teas, Mariage Freres teas. A tea tasting would be a wonderful idea

for our 1st anniversary (four years back now) I rented a cottage by the sea and booked a two hour deep massage (no, not *that* kind of deep) for each of us in the cottage.
