Congrats on the 1 year anniversary leekohler & scem0. :) :) :)

haha, no problem! :)

Here's another:

An Apple photobook with pictures of you guys together and pictures of places that mean something to you and him. They make hard cover, soft cover, small, large... whatever fits your mood :)

That is a cool idea njmac. :)

This sounds like a very nice idea.

Personally, the gifts that I value the most come from the heart rather than the pocketbook.

The photobook is definitely a way to express yourself to your SO.

i definitely like the photo book idea, its something that is unique and can be shared between the two of you

About those teas...I'm a bit of a tea whore these days and I don't know why, but there are some great teas (not loose leaf) that I discovered at the Barnes and Nobel Starbucks. The regular Starbucks do not have them as they're licensed with Tazo.

I have had the Vanilla Comoro (which was a nice mild black tea), Hot Cinnamon Sunset (amazing tea great for the afternoon), and a Holiday Tea which I didn't see on their site. It's holiday spices in a black tea. I am not a great fan of black tea, but their black tea so far has been great.

You can order a few little gift tins and a nice tea pot like someone said and have tea and a little dessert (something fancy that you don't get at the supermarket baker) in a park or something. I do not know what the weather is like, maybe a park would be dreadful.
Tea is always good. I have a bunch I want to try, including Lapsang. I've had teas from Wuyi, but never Lapsang Souchong. I also want to try some mighty leaf teas, some adagio teas, Mariage Freres teas. A tea tasting would be a wonderful idea :).

Tea whore? The mind boggles. You mean given enough money you'll even drink Lapsang Souchong? :p

In that example I'd be a free whore :), I really want to try Lapsang.

Yeah Lee, I've heard that Em is a tight arse in some respects, so with that and a dinner in mind, it'd have to be Raman Noodles.

That was dirty.
I don't have any ideas, but congratulations on your anniversary!
thank you!

I knew I could count on V for a great idea :D.

You.....nekkid........bathtub.....hot water.........bring out the tea leaves........
Why didn't I think of that?! :D
Congrats on the 1 year anniversary leekohler & scem0. :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

PS. multiquote for the win :).

I used to drink cups and cups of Lapsang Souchong everyday for years before I changed to coffee. But even now I love the smokey taste. I love the smokey taste in Lagavulin whisky as well, so maybe I'm just a smokey person.

I usually dislike smokey teas, but I just drank a pot of a smokey tea tonight, one of my 'regulars' that I buy in bulk :). Dim Sum Bo Nay by Foojoy tea, cheap cheap cheap, but good. Yummy in my tummy!

for our 1st anniversary (four years back now) I rented a cottage by the sea and booked a two hour deep massage (no, not *that* kind of deep) for each of us in the cottage.

By hubby is a closet romantic - I have to bully him into it, then he loves it.

Congrats you two - hope this is the first of many anniversaries.

Might sound a bit conventional, but I would go for jewellery of some sort. White gold should match his skin tone.

Congrats guys. :)
