First off I did a search in this forum and found nothing for this topic.

Is there a checklist of things I should look for and test when looking at a used 15" UMBP?

It was new in November (so it is probably Rev A). The guy is selling it because he bought a macbook air and he never uses this one. If I get it I will probably purchase apple care for it.

I have the serial number for it and I verified that it had not been registered with apple yet but it is a valid s/n.

    Any tips are appreciated!

run the apple hardware test on boot.
verify the amount of installed ram.
verify that the hd is original.
run xbench or geekbench and make sure that the system scores are acceptable for the hardware configuration you're purchasing.
