What type of panels do Macbook and Pro's have?

    Do macbooks have the same lcd panels as macbook pro's?

    No, the Pro's have far superiour quality, HD support and double the colours (1 million to 1.7 million)

    Both displays are 6 bit TN panels and support 262,000 colours.

    thats wrong, the pro's support 1,700,000 colours.

    Apple uses dithering to try to replicate the extra colours. I have a Macbook Pro. I've checked.
