I wear Ray-Bans. They've absolutely been bullet-proof for me. On the few occasions where I've actually bent them at all, all I had to do was bend them back and good as new :). They look great as well .

Nothing special to see, some plastic brownish frames from CK but the lenses are super special to me. First pair of prescription sunglasses. :D And they're polarized. Mm. Yummy. Now if only it would get sunny so I could actually use 'em.

Oliver Peoples Aero with silver titanium frames and platinum polarised lenses

When I first got prescription sunglasses I was amazed at how much better I could see. Polarized is the best. I've gone from Oakleys to Revo to now Ray Ban, for eye and sun.

OK... I have a few, each with a different purpose.

First expensive pair of sunglasses I had were some cheap Oakley metal frames... forgot the exact model, etc. Don't wear them anymore.

I also had a pair of Magnesium M Frames, which are no longer in production. They were stolen (while in a church!). If you like the M Frame style, and don't mind paying extra for nice sunglasses, AND you can find a pair, these are the premo-oakleys in my opinion. They discontinued them because they were expensive and probably didn't sell many--why go magnesium when you can go $150 cheaper with the mframe?

For baseball:
Oakley Pro M frame.
Pros: Best for the job. I see fly balls better with them and won't play outfield without them. They can stand a little abuse... not that I put them through much. These are the pro glasses that MLB players use. Interchangable lenses for varying light conditions

Cons: Don't bend (i.e. difficult storage/carrying, but the regular M Frames do). Very job-specific (baseball, shooting sports, maybe golf). $$$.

Notes: Buy polarized and don't look back.

OK, you'll think this is really strange... but when I have a really short haircut:

Persol somethings... Daniel Craig wore them in Casino Royale
Pros: Bond wore them. High quality optics

Cons: Prone to scratches, $$$ for a pair of glasses I rarely wear. Hard to find.

And my kinda wear-everywhere, don't-care-if-I-scratch-'em Ray Ban's.
Pros: Reasonably priced (<USD 120; can be found for ~90). Classic. Reasonably tough, easily replaced. I feel comfortable wearing them anywhere because I've relegated them to eventual destruction.

Cons: Everyone has a pair of aviators. (hyperbole, twitchy forum members)

I have become a fan of frameless, nice and light weight and they look better.

Dirty Dog - not quite the ones I have, but can't find the exact ones.

Also looking for a new pair of sunnies

I have a pair of Fossils that are my common everyday sunglasses and a pair of Guccis that I wear when I want to spiff it up a bit.

Maui Jim w/ Flexon frames- best sunglasses I have ever owned.

You can buy them full price for around $300, or check out BJs Wholesale Club for "last year's models" for around $99.

Maui Jim.

They're nice, although I'd really like a nice pair that isn't polarized. Any suggestions anyone?

I have both Oakley A-wire polarized and Smith Voodoos. I really like the polarized lenses, they really make colors pop. The Smiths have interchangeable lenses which is pretty awesome, too. I got both pair off eBay. I really suggest getting them this way if you know what you want because you can usually get 20-40% off retail. If you are wondering about the authenticity of glasses bought off eBay..I sat on my Oakleys about 4 months after buying them and bent the frames up. Called Oakley, sent them back and they replaced the frames no questions asked. And I did tell them I bought them from eBay. Good luck.
